this April 2nd 2008 edition. Hey, Jesse, do you remember a character from the early

Adventures in Odyssey shows who was a troublemaker? Hmm. You mean, Regis Blaggard? No, no, no.

Less evil. Oh, Jesse Morales. She got into a lot of trouble. Really, but smurched the

good name of all people named Jesse. Well, no one wants to be but smurched. No, no, it's

not Jesse Morales. Think student council elections. I got it. Kurt Stevens. Exactly. Kurt Stevens

was a lovable troublemaker in many early Odyssey shows and executive producer Dave Arnold

interviewed the actor who plays him Fabio Stevens. You know, boy, I must be kind of confusing.

If you have the same last name as your character. Well, this is top secret, but Fabio

and Kurt Stevens will be appearing in an episode later this spring. Don't worry. I won't

tell anybody. Let's hear from Fabio. Take it away, Dave. Fabio Stevens, aka Kurt Stevens.

Is it spelled the same way? No, unfortunately, it's not spelled the same way. I know that

a Adventures in Odyssey was looking for a last name for the character and they used mine

except my real last name is spelled with a pH and Kurt is spelled with a V. So when

did you start working with Adventures in Odyssey? I think I started around 87, 88. I'm not

sure how many episodes into it. I started. So yeah, back then, I think I was like 10 or

11 years old. Did you think that when the character began that you were going to be a long

term character? Was it explained you that way? Or did you think, well, this is a one off

and I'll never be back again. No, I had come in with a church group and I never really

had a real audition. I remember actually being a little bit embarrassed because we were
