Would you turn with me this morning, please, to Acts the second chapter, second chapter of Acts.

We are welcome everybody that's here for the first time, and I want you just to be relaxed and enjoy the presence of the Lord.

We so appreciate all our faithful people that you've been cleaning and working in the children's

and working in the parking lots and every other thing.

We so appreciate it.

You know, this is a big job, one or two people or five people can't do it.

Our staff's been pulling double duty for almost a year now. And you ought to pat them on the

back once in a while when you see them because they have worked, I like two or three jobs at once.

They've stayed at to midnight half the time and and really done a lot of

work for you and other people though are raising up in the church to take some of the responsibility

and job and we appreciate that we haven't you know i've heard other churches say you know how do you

get people to volunteer and how do you get people to work well number one you need to work

yourself demonstrate amen to so how you get people to pray well you pray and lead and encourage

people to follow but you you guys have stepped up to the bat every time we've needed something

there's been plenty of people and like phyllis said concerning the johnsons with the homegoing of their've needed something there's been plenty of people and uh like phyllis said

concerning the johnsons with the home going of their dead i mean there was food there were people

there was stuff right there and that's what we are and that's what we're going to be we're a family

amen family takes care of its own and that's what the scriptures teach acts the second chapter are you there

are you excited about the future how many believe the lord has some really really good things planned

for us and we really haven't seen the half of what he's got for us yet.
