. Hello and welcome back to Kindled. I'm very excited to bring you today a conversation that I had with Alisa Childers.

Alisa is one of the people that I turn to for wisdom and discernment on really right versus almost right when it comes to these topics of progressive Christianity,

deconstruction, and so much more matters of theology

and faith applied.

And so I can't recommend her podcast enough to you.

And I am so happy to bring this conversation that we had on the topic of engagement in

the political sphere as believers and as women.

So we kind of have two parts to this conversation.

What is the role of the Christian politically and how do we engage as Christians without

ruining or tarnishing our witness?

And then also how do we as Christian women, what does that look like for us to engage

in these conversations that some

call the culture war issues? You see that a lot. Almost every day I see someone talking about,

oh, it's the culture war, it's the culture war. The culture war is people's theology being

lived out in the public square. That's all it is. And so as we talk about having right theology and applying that to our lives using wisdom,

that's going to put us up against those who are on the side of darkness and evil,

who are doing the same thing with their theology.
