It's been a few years since I've been on the show. Yeah, there might be a reason for that. Because the last time, as good as you were on the podcast, I did. I remember having to bleep you out many, many times. But fortunately now, everything around Apple is much more sane and calm, isn't it? Oh, no, you're going to bleep me out several times again today. Okay. I can personally guarantee that. Right. I believe last time I bleeps you out with the sound of a Mac startup bleep, I'll try to find something like that sometime. That works for me. Yeah. Yeah. But let's go in the thing that I think you might start.

Let's go straight for it, what you might find contentious.

iPhone Air is dead.

It is absolutely doomed.

Total failure.

That's what at least some analysts are saying, or at least the ones who aren't saying,

it's a massive success.

What's going on?

So this happens every year.

It happens every year in late October, early November,

where Apple tunes up their deliveries.

So Apple uses this thing called just-in-time manufacturing,

which means they only have between 30 and 60 days of parts available and less than 30 days of active inventory available, sometimes much, much less.

So we've got right now is a situation where Apple has overestimated the initial demand for the iPhone Air.

There's been a big swing toward the Pro models this year, and I think that that has impacted the air. And when I

reviewed the iPhone error, I said exactly this. I said that don't put a lot of stock into this.

There's going to be a lot of, oh my God, the iPhone air is doomed. It's dead. It's dying.
