So yeah, we're here to read your responses to the Forbidden Woods.

I'll go ahead and get us started here with Emily, who says via contact.

Reflecting back on the Forbidden Woods, I can consider this area to be one of the more memorable and

unique experiences I've had in a souls game. The lower forest was long, disturbing, and disorienting as a maze,

and it made me question everything I thought I knew about the setting of the game.

When I finally reached what appeared to be the boss arena I was reeling at the prospect of

navigating through those woods again and again even with the not-so-generous

shortcut factored in. The long downward slog through the forest

reminded me of those early treks down to the armored spider before I discovered the shortcut in 2.1.

Unlike the armor spider, I stepped into the shadow of Yarnam blind and killed them on my first try.

Good job. Desperation is a mighty drug.
