Another one that we've seen is evangelicals giving up what we regard as the traditional

distinctives of the faith, the blood atonement, the virgin birth, literal heaven, literally

eternal punishment, a literal hellfire.

And of course, the big conversation that's had people on both sides of the fence getting

a little agitated the last few weeks is Kirk Cameron,

with his views on questioning, not necessarily denying eternal punishment, but certainly questioning it.

Yeah, let's talk about that because I think that you said exactly right,

where he, again, he's a brother in the Lord. He's done a lot for God's kingdom certainly you know I've

I've disagreed with with him on a few items again I we agree on more than we disagree for sure

and you know I did a thing where he had talked about Israel not being the chosen people and so

I did a response to that and people

can find that online. And but now the past few weeks, he just simply said, well, you know,

he's come to this, it's nothing new, but for him it must have been new in that he said,

oh, I'm coming to understand that this

idea of eternal conscious torment hell, the lake of fire, eternal hell, isn't as clear

as he thought it was.

So he said, I'm wondering, is, about there's another way to interpret some of these

passages, that they are not, there, it's not an eternal hell, but that people, it's still hell.

People, he didn't deny hell, and he didn't come to a final conclusion. But the idea is

that people are, they come to a place, they go to hell, they're resurrected, they come to a place after a little bit of time, whatever that time might be, it's, it's, again, it's ambiguous because it's not in the Bible. But after a certain time of punishment, God just basically puffs them out of existence. And so they're not, they don't exist anymore. Soul's gone. Thanks for coming,

but you're no longer there. You've been basically burned up soul, body, everything, and you

no longer resist. And that's the eternal, that has eternal consequences. Yes. Of course.
