Join once again by my esteemed deputy editor, John Dixon. John, they say that that free

agency comes in waves, and that initial wave was monsoon-like, and now it is the calm after

this storm it feels like. Yeah, a little bit. I mean, certainly, I think there was more

activity from the chiefs than we have seen recently, even though it's never enough to

satisfy fans. I mean, fans over is expecting, you know, a whole bunch of moves in the first,

you know, 12 hours or whatever, and that's just not the way it's going to work for the

chiefs probably for years to come. But so we got to get used to that. I didn't expect

to go on a rant that Diatribe so early here, but have we not learned anything from last

year? What is the panic right now? There is panic coming in, and I think initially fans

were okay, but then, you know, you start to see some of the key players leave, and void

is not immediately filled. And yeah, there are six months until the game. So it's hard

to be preoccupied and think about that kind of stuff. But there is complete panic again,

especially from the louder numbers of the fan base chiefs Twitter, as they like to say.

And I just want to go back to last year's free agency, when the AFC West was loading

up, and the chiefs were standing pat, being patient, keeping in your track, and then what

happened? Will we learn nothing? They won the championship. They won the Super Bowl title.

And so yes, I think this is a good part of the podcast. I wasn't even planning on this

before we get into anything to like, if you're worried about free agency, let's breathe.

It's going to be okay. I try to say this every year, you know, not to, not to belittle

anyone, but I try to say this every year. It's a tough time of year because we don't see
