Summary

In this month's edition of "Dear Progressor," you'll hear from members of this community who called in and answered my prompt to share their did something lists. I based this on the idea that we need to look back in order to better look forward - in this case to a new year! This episode is really fun because it's not just a laundry list of goals and achievements. We get to hear a lot of fun things! And I kick it off with 3 things on my own did something list. These women share things ranging from the word that describes their past year, the old hobbies they got back into, returning to their education and even book publishing! I hope this inspires you to create your own Did Something List so you can see all that you really did accomplish over this past year and go confidently into 2023. Hi Monica. Hi Monica. Hi Monica. Hi Monica. Hi Monica. Hi Monica. Hi Monica.

Hey Monica. You are listening to Dear Progressor, a monthly episode full of notes from your fellow

0:14.8

progressers of the About Progress community. A few weeks ago, I released an episode all about how

0:24.7

we need to look back in order to better look forward. And this was of course guided in terms of the

0:32.1

new year in 2023 in order to better look forward to a new year. We need to look back on the year we've

0:37.6

already had. And this was all done to help us see how far we've actually come and how that can also

0:46.6

give us information and inspire how we're going to move forward. Now with that all being said,

0:53.1

this is going to be a fun episode. It's our final Dear Progressor of 2022. And it will be our last

1:00.3

Dear Progressor episode for a while since I'm going to be on my journey to leave. Don't worry the

1:05.0

podcast is still going to be around. But my work will hopefully be all done in advance. So we won't

1:13.3

likely air a Dear Progressor episode for a few months. So for that reason it's special. But for

1:18.4

another reason, it's special because we get to hear from a variety of progressers from this

1:23.7

community. And what they did in 2022. Now when you hear that, you might be thinking of like

1:30.5

productivity or goals or achievements. And while those certainly can be a part of your own

1:35.7

did something list. And part of what this community is celebrating too. These have a good variety

1:43.2

of answers. You're going to hear about achievements. You're going to hear about lessons they've learned.

1:48.3

And it's kind of some development they've had within themselves. To start us off, I would like to

1:55.2

share about my own did something list. 2022 went by super fast full of lots of ups and downs

2:03.9

as life typically goes. And in creating my own did something list, I of course had like very

2:09.2

specific things that I did that I wanted to honor. But for this moment today, I wanted to share

2:14.9

about three general things that I did in 2022 that I saw progress in. The first is just my family

2:22.8

and our family culture. If you've listened to some of the episodes I've recorded on this about
