the search for extraterrestrial life. She's also one

of very few black women in the field, and she's an actor. She joins us to talk about her

So today on Forum, let's talk about whether there's life on other planets and why

that matters so much to Alma Shields. She's an astronomer and astrobiologist who's also a classically

trained actor. We'll talk about her journey to becoming a leader in her field and why she believes

she won't truly accept how big the universe is until she knows that other life forms share it.
