There are several great ghost stories waiting in the wings for Anything Ghost number 290. And the first story is from Perla in Indio, California.

Ghost at the local movie theater.

It was the summer of 2004, and I had just graduated from high school.

One day my sister and her then boyfriend invited me to watch a movie at our local theater with them.

I happily agreed and went.

But they wanted to watch a different movie that I wasn't into,

so they allowed me to watch a different one by myself.

We went our separate ways, as their movie was starting very soon,

and mine was starting a little later, so I had some time to pass at the movie theater arcade.

That's when I had my first physical, ghostly encounter.

The arcade was empty, so I had it all to myself, and I went toward my all-time favorite dancing

game and played a few rounds to entertain myself before my movie.

While I was dancing, I felt a sudden tap on my left shoulder.

I quickly turned around because I thought it was my friend or maybe my sister.

But when I did, no one was there.

I was a bit confused, as I looked around the empty room.

I could have sworn I felt a tap.

The tap didn't feel light.
