summer, and so I want you to sit back and enjoy Anything Goes Show number 281. We're going to start off with the story from Ted in Orange County, California.

This is the way it has always been. I've had a fairly normal

childhood growing up in Vietnam, emigrating to the U.S. when I was 13. Everything was typical

until my senior year in high school. I'd just gotten back from wrestling practice and was

exhausted, so I dozed off to sleep.

This was followed by sleep paralysis, which back then was not very well known. After a few times of

trying to wake myself, I finally woke up. I sat right up my forehead and sure damped with sweat. My heart was racing, and that was the

first time I truly felt afraid. Things started to go wrong after that afternoon.

A few months went by without another incident.

I was taking a shower as usual.

Suddenly I felt someone watching me.

I cleared off the shampoo from my face and looked out.

Someone was in the bathroom looking at me.

I couldn't see clearly through the frosted bathtub door, but it was a male figure,

and a light blue buttoned shirt and tan slacks pulled up past the belly. He had on a green

hard hat, like one of those hats people wear in the jungle. I slid the frosted door open,

and there was no one there.

I didn't even finish showering. I dried off and got out of there.

I chalked it up to my imagination.

That night my dad told me my grandpa had died, his dad, in Vietnam.

We turned on Yahoo Messenger, yes, I'm that old, and we watched part of the funeral procession
