speaking to, so I'm excited to learn more about this. Some days I pinch myself and I asked the same

question. I've been at the safari park now for about 22 years and I started with our

education safari experience team driving the old monorail that used to drive around the park and doing

photo caravans. Did a loan in the elephant department and got hired on and learned a lot about

behavior and our conservation work that we do at the safari park. And I've just applied for more

opportunity and here I am.

We have three curators. So I am responsible for the elephant team, our overnight team, who is here caring for our wildlife after dark, and working on our coexistence work that we have here in Escondido.

We have an 1,800-acre habitat facility, and about half of that is set aside for native wildlife.
