Summary

Host Reed Galen is joined by Jay McKenzie, the founder of “Did Nothing Wrong”, a newsletter and podcast that seeks to make sense of the chaotic narratives that threaten to hijack our nation’s discourse and politics. They discuss the MAGA movement’s commitment to cultivating distrust in our nation’s institutions (by political means and otherwise), how the GOP is completely disinterested in governing, and how far-right influencers like Nick Fuentes continue to advance their dangerous narratives. 1:29.8

a country that can elect Trump with all the things that he said and did, there's something

1:34.5

deeply wrong with it. And I got on Twitter to try and figure out how I could help and how I could

1:41.0

make a difference and hopefully make sense of all of it. So I started researching, I looked at

1:47.9

Trump's businesses, I looked at Pax and money coming into political campaigns, I started looking at

1:53.9

Russian influence operations, all these sorts of things. And eventually, if you post enough

2:00.4

material and enough material that people don't like on social media, you find some trolls.

2:06.9

You have a whole bunch of new friends, a lot of new friends. And they are coming out of nowhere,
