Philippians chapter 4.

Tonight we're looking at the message entitled, Anxious for Nothing.

I heard a lot of sawing on that.

Maybe you guys, are you feeling a little anxious?

You should, right?

I was feeling really anxious last year, September, October, and then the election happened,

and then all of a sudden I wasn't so anxious. And now, I didn't think, you've heard it said

before, right, I didn't think that the Savior arrived on Air Force One, but, you know, it was just kind of like, okay, I felt like I could

breathe, you know, and so that's kind of encouraging. But now if you're watching everything

that's going on, it's like there's just nonstop, like, onslaught always happening against

righteousness. And just depending on how much you think about it, you could get really

upset and anxious about it. And I think that there's got to be a good balance between staying

informed and seeing what's going on in the news and the world around you and keeping that

tempered with your Bible. Because remember, Jesus is coming soon, right? And now we should be looking forward

too. This world's not our home. If that isn't painstakingly obvious by now, I don't know what

would make it for you. But join me as we pray and we'll get into the word. Father, we thank you

for this time to gather together. Lord, we want to hear from you

tonight and your word and what a powerful section of Scripture this is. And we need to be reminded

that we don't need to be anxious, even though we are often anxious. So, Lord, we surrender this to you

tonight and ask that you would bring the great

comfort of the Holy Spirit into our lives through your word. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
