Summary

Brittany Hogan, from our community group in Fairhope, Alabama, shares her journey of deeply struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, and other phobias over the years. Her vulnerability will not only educate you in the world of mental health, but it will also encourage you to know God sees you and loves you and will give you exactly what you need for today.

IN THIS EPISODE YOU WILL LEARN:

- Struggles with anxiety and worry do not necessarily reflect your faith in a sovereign and trustworthy God.

- Don't let tomorrow's worries steal the energy God has given you for today.

- Sometimes, God allows the struggles in your life to occur so you will recognize your need for Him.

Welcome to the Storytellers Live podcast where everyday women share stories of hope found in Jesus. I'm Robin, and I'm here with Katie and Lindy, and we are your podcast host. If you're new to storytellers, if you're new to the podcast, or if you've been listening for a while, but you may not know that we are more than just a podcast. We're actually a full ministry that offers Bible studies and live gatherings. And so

Lindy, tell us a little bit about the live gatherings. Well, you know, Storytellers Ministry was just

0:58.4

founded just on the mission of everyday women sharing stories of hope in Jesus. And so we have 12

1:05.6

community teams, mainly across the southeast, where women gather in churches or in living rooms, and again,

1:12.7

share stories of hope where God has shown up in their lives in a specific season, in a specific

1:17.7

circumstance. And so through these stories, we're able to produce this podcast. And then we also,

1:24.8

Katie has written two incredible Bible studies that we also offer. Well, you know, Lindy, as you say, we want women to share stories of hope found in Jesus. But one of our really missions is for women to go from religion to relationship with Jesus. And that's what these Bible studies are all about. We offer two of them. One is stories of hope. One is stories of freedom. We've got incredible feedback of how

1:44.6

these Bible studies are really transforming lives. And so we're so excited about offering that as well. And before we get to our story, I want to just tell you all that right now, we are opening applications to become a community for storytellers. We do this once a year. And now is the time. And so if you've listened for a while or if you're

listening now and think, oh, wait, I would love to have, I think I would love to have a community,

2:06.4

then reach out to us at info at storytellerslive.org and ask for more information. And we can get

you everything you need. And the applications end for this year on October 31st. And now for today's story,
