Amsterdam, Reuters, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, will miss the Gop 29

climate summit after clashes in Amsterdam between Israeli soccer fans and pro-Palestrian protesters

as his government investigates if warning signs from Israel were missed.

Malcolm, there's a lot in that sentence, so I ask you to help me understand.

I saw some video.

It looked like thugs running around speaking out loud in anti-Semitic fashion.

And I saw some people go down, but it was dark.

I couldn't tell.

What happened?

So there was a football game when an Israeli team came and played a local team that was

backed by the Jewish community in Amsterdam associated with them.

Several thousand Israelis actually traveled to Holland to attend the game.

There was an organized effort by young Muslims, they say of many of the Moroccan, Turkish,

and other heritages, often in the

second and third generation in Holland, who came in an organized fashion, hid out in different

places, and attacked the people as they left the stadium.

There was an inadequate police presence, in fact, almost minimal.
