Malcolm Honline Conference of Presidents, major American Jewish organizations, my colleague

and co-host, and we're very pleased to welcome Joel Finkelstein, Chief Science Officer,

co-founder of NCRI, he will explain.

He's also a fellow at the Miller Center for Community Protection and Resilience at

Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.

And his colleague, Tova Plout, who is the co-founder of the New York City Public

School Alliance.

This is about education.

This is about propaganda, adjut prop in education, especially

K through 12. So we will begin with Joel defining the threat. Joel, a very good evening to you.

It's wonderful to welcome you back. The threat is in New York, but it's across the nation.

What does it look like?

How could anyone recognize it, Joel? Well, look, I think that it, you know, when you have something

happening to thousands of people across, you know, across independent school districts and the five

boroughs and nationally, it's always very hard for millions of people to describe what's happening

to them in ways that we can make sense of.

Okay. And we began an investigation with Tova and her team. And the goal was to work with thousands of school teachers across New York City so that everybody could take out their cameras and take pictures in their own world, their own classroom, what's happening in my classroom, what's happening in my life? Let's take that data and organize it. Let's create a database where we can annotate,

we can look at all the incidents that are happening within a school, we can get the curriculum,

and we can use data to do that. And that's what the Network Contagion Research Institute does.

We use data to make sense of extraordinarily complicated problems. This is not done frequently, but when we worked with Tova and her colleagues to develop a picture of what was happening in the five boroughs regions across these curriculum,
