good evening to you. You present that between January 1, 2020 and January, June 30, 2022, you

had a research base of 100 million tweets. What did you learn Joel? Good evening to you.

Good evening, John. Thanks so much for having me. So the analysis, we sought to understand

some of the core myths behind anti-Semitism and how those myths are really motivating for

populists on both sides of the political aisle. There's really, I think, one core myth. Most

people think there's several different myths. I think what our analysis is showing is that

there's one central theme towards anti-Semitic conspiracy and that theme converges on this issue

of replacement. I mean, probably your listeners are familiar with this idea of Charlottesville and

the Jews, so I'll not replace us. It's this concern that people have, that they're being replaced

in this kind of spooky, almost invasion of the body snatchers' kind of conspiracy, where

they are being replaced with foreign populations and that there's a coup, a kind of revolutionary

movement that's seeking to unseat them. Now, this actually has its roots, the earliest

inscriptions of anti-Semitism. They have their roots in biblical accounts, where Pharaoh is

warning the Egyptians that the Jews are multiplying and that they're going to replace us.

And he warns them, they're going to bring in invaders to get rid of us. So in the earliest

inscriptions, we see evidence of these kinds of themes. Now, our research showed that in the modern

world, this is really broken out into two camps. One argues that white people are being displaced

by people of color and that the ethnic makeup of Western civilization is being undone by Jews
