Few actors are as synonymous with a single role in their careers as Anthony Daniels.

On the moment he appeared in what was then known just as Star Wars in 1977 encased within

Golden Armor and hidden by a slightly altered voice, his life and career has been dominated

by one character, C3PO.

The ultimate, protocol droid, fluent, and over 6 million forms of communication.

You know the one.

Daniels is unique within Star Wars in being the only performer to appear in all 9 films

in what is now known as the Skywalker saga.

If I'm wrong about that by the way, do write in and tell me.

And now he's taken over 40 years of memories and experiences and funneled them all into

a book called simply I am C3PO, the inside story.

And he came into the pod booth recently to have a good old matter with me about his decision

to write it now and various aspects of the Star Wars experience.

Now, as you'll hear, I had only received a copy of the book just a couple of hours before

he arrived in our studio so I didn't have time to read it for which he constantly and

good nightedly busted my balls.

But hopefully my ignorance resulted in an interesting conversation.
