Would you turn your Bible please to the several of the Mount chapter 7 of Matthew verses 7 through 11

and the title of this message answered prayer.

And this is one of our series on prayer.

Matthew chapter 7 verses 7 through 11, some verses that all of us ought to memorize

and recognize that it is one of God's many pastures to encourage us to pray.

For he says, ask and it shall be given you.

Seek and you shall find knocking it shall be open unto you.

For everyone that asks you to receive it, he that seek you to find it and to him that knock it, it shall be open.

Or what man is there of you whom if his son asks bread, will he give him a stone?

Or if he asks a fish, will he give him a serpent?

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,

how much more will the Heavenly Father give good things to them that ask him?

Let's look at that passage for a moment.

He says, were to ask and it will be given.

Seek will find knocking it shall be open.

Now the key to that passage is to be found in the next two verses when he says,

or what man is there of you if his son asks him bread, will he give him a stone?

Or if he asks a fish, will he give him a serpent?
