There are moments every now and then

that strike at the very consciousness of all of us.

There are moments in this country's history that cause the American people

to sort of stop themselves in their tracks and say, no, oh, that can't stand.

That's not right.

That's not who we are.

And even though many Americans won't publicly acknowledge these moments,

privately, damn near every American, every now and then, when a moment comes along that is so out of the

norm, so bad, so unjust, so cruel, so just plain wrong that damn near all of us privately say oh god no no no no that's that we've gone too

far and many of us will say it publicly all of us believe it privately these are the moments

that change the course of history.

January 6 was one of those moments.

What happened in Minneapolis yesterday

could well be one of those moments.

An innocent 37-year-old American woman gunned down by an ice agent.

And again, I sound like I'm beating a dead horse here.

But I know and I believe in my heart that damn near every American

who watched the video because what an amazing age we live in right the video is right there

damn near every american who watched that video either publicly or privately said to themselves

oh that shouldn't have happened.
