on Sirius XM and another bank collapse. Are you sitting down? Thanks to the Biden inflation,

among other topics. Our guest today is Michael Jan, independent journalist and international

man of mystery. He's truly one of the most human beings, one of the most interesting

human beings that I know. And he calls in today from Panama's Darien Gap, which is one of the most

perilous regions of the world, really. And it is a huge component to the mess that is our

immigration system slash the illegal immigration invasion that's

taking place in America. And he reports real time. I think at one point he actually is talking

to some chickens that he sit in his hotel room. He starts talking to some Venezuelan migrants.

It's pretty wild. As we're having this conversation right now, he continues to send me

updates from the region, and it's very cool to have people like him in my corner. He does help inform

the show even when he's not on. So it's good to have him on. And let's get in the news. I'll start briefly politically.

A lot of the discussion over the weekend was assessing the presidential race where things are. And I will tell you, one of the quotes of my life, one of the quotes. When you do these, the type of job I do, you don't hear too much where it stops you dead in your tracks but bernie sanders said that many in republican party leadership don't even believe in democracy don't even believe in democracy

Bernie Sanders is a socialist so it's actually Bernie Sanders who does not believe in democracy

so i just thought that was pretty cool to have a socialist guy.

Hey, but you know what?

They call themselves social Democrats.

They think you can have both.
