Hi, I'm Kelly Carter and my dilemma is that I want more than one person to win at least two categories at this year's Academy Awards.

So, you know, I was gonna say that there's no chance that happens. There's no ties in the Oscars.

But I hadn't done any research and now that I have, it is not common, but it has happened six times.

I don't remember this ever, but first of all, before I was born, 1969, Barbara Streisand and Catherine Hepburn famously tied.

And then most recently, back in 2013, zero dark 30 and skyfall tied for best sound editing, which I definitely watched that one, but I didn't remember the tie.

So I can't exactly fix your dilemma, but I can provide you with a little bit of hope.

And this year has been so weird that I think a couple rare Oscar ties thrown in just kind of feels right.

Fingers crossed. That's what she said.

One of my favorite days of the year is usually the Sunday that the NFL Wildcard Games and Golden Globes share.

In the past, it's been this super lazy day on the couch.

It starts with playoff football, then the red carpet pre-shows, the awards, lots of takeout Chinese food, just the ideal lazy day.

With football and pretty dresses.

And I didn't get that day this year because when the Oscars push back their ceremony to the end of this month, the Globes got pushed back to the original Oscars date in late February.

And there was no crossover.

And then now with the Oscars and COVID still around, I can't throw a party.

And I can't have cute, clever, nominated film-themed foods, like I used to have with little little labels and clever names.
