Hey everyone, it's Nick. We have a special message from our executive producers Terry Miles

and Paul Bay. Unfortunately, only Paul could be here today. Terry's cleaning up some

audio for episodes five and six. Hi Paul. Hey Nick. So you wanted to fill in our audience

and someone's happening? Yeah, as our audience knows, Alex has been going through quite a bit

this season. For listeners, it's only been going on for eight weeks, I think. But for us

here at Pacific Northwest Stories, it's actually been several months of this. Over this time,

we've had to watch our friend and call to get Alex, where you can basically endanger her

health for the sake of our show. And though we respect her autonomy and strengthen her incredible

courage, it's a team decision here. And as a team, we've decided to give Alex a much needed

vacation. And how long is this vacation going to last? She should be back in a few weeks,

which means by the time we have the next few episodes recorded, it'll be two months.

So effectively, we're on a two month hiatus. Yes. We'll be back with episode two or five

on May 10th. So that's kind of like the kickstarter break that we took in the middle of season

one? Yeah, just without the kickstarter. Right. Okay. Well, I think I have enough on

Mayan to continue assembling the episodes until Alex gets back. For our dedicated fans,

our sincere apologies for the break. Alex hasn't had a vacation in a few years, so we think

she's due. Right. Of course. And this doesn't have anything to do with the mysterious countdown

clock. Are you concerned? No. Good. Because Terry and I talked about it in both of us believe

it's it's mostly like these don't kind of prank. Right. It's a bit specific for some kind

of prank though. Yeah. Well, that's the explanation we came up with. Okay. But just in case, we'll

make sure we record everything that happens on that date for a turn on May 10th so we can
