Hello, Radio.

Hi, everybody. Welcome to Ann Wortley's Weekly Weather. We're broadcasting a little late tonight, actually three in the morning, because I'm sitting here writing my column, and I thought, I'm like really awake. When don't I just do the radio show this morning and sleep in in the morning? So I apologize for the missed broadcast this evening. I was down in Philadelphia at the lovely NCGR conference.

That was really great.

It was the, they have it every few years, learned a lot of cool stuff, took the train home late after dinner with friends, and got in at 11.30, so I kind of missed the dinner.

Dinner missed at 6 o'clock show, 11.30 missed the late night.

But now it's 3 o'clock in the morning. I'm awake, and I thought I would do the broadcast now,

so you would have it in the morning when you commuted to work.

Our week ahead is really interesting. This is the week of August 19th, 2013.

And I am broadcasting from the bright red desk with cats that are awake.

They're all awake at night.

I realize they sleep during the day and then they're awake at night.

Our week this week has a lot to do, a lot going on for a few reasons.

We have a full moon, which is going to take

us back to February of 2012, and then to the eclipses of last November, right after Sandy

happened and before the Sandy Hook shootings happened. So we're kind of in that middle period.

So we should hear a lot of news about those situations

because that was the opening quarter.

This is the full moon.

It's a 28 of Aquarius,

and the Sabian images for it are a mermaid awaits being rescued

by, has climbed onto the rocky shore of a bleak coast.

She awaits the prince who will bring her immortality.
