Today I'm joined by Dr. Susan Dunhensley to learn more about this queen consort of Scotland,

England, and Ireland. Susan, welcome. Thank you. Thank you for inviting me. I'm happy to be here.

I'm excited to have someone on to talk about this amazing queen that we usually don't veer into because we talk mostly about the tutors. But Anne of Denmark and James I'm first and sixth is so close to the tutors that I think this topic is an important one for us to have.

Susan, could you maybe give the listeners just a little bit of your background?

Yes, I am a literature professor at Wheaton College in Illinois,

and I actually became interested in Anna of Denmark because of the court

masks that she participated in and sponsored.

So yeah, I'm coming at her sort of from a literary perspective.

And my book, Anna of Denmark and Henrietta Maria, Virgingins, Witches and Catholic Queens is both historical and
