She also oversees a variety of other clinical services, patient and family programs, and Volunteer Services. ● Since joining Dana-Farber in 2002, she has led implementations of a primary nursing care model and a residency training program for newly licensed nurses and has secured funding for programs and research to support inclusion, diversity and equity, positive practice environments, and self-care and renewal programs. She also is involved in committees, boards, and initiatives nationally and internationally and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing.

0:30.2	You did. Thanks so much. Great to see you again. Great to be here. And I think, speaking of 23 years,
0:42.8	your arrival at Dana Farber coincided with the start of this incredible effort.

0:48.7	23 years ago in August, just as you are 23 years old this month.
0:49.0	Yeah. So in 23 years of doing this, what are the changes that you have seen?

0:56.6	So many advances in the field and new therapies that are bringing so much hope and
1:04.6	cures and remission and longer survival to our patients and families.
1:08.8	And it's just been extraordinary and it and it keeps going
1:12.8	i mean this is such a dynamic field as you all know um just amazing to be part of for all these years
1:19.8	we heard from joe lee earlier who's in the simulation training center and that was so cool to hear
1:26.3	i've never heard of anything like that. Is that
1:28.3	Dana Farber and just how impressive Dana Farber is as a whole to get nurses ready for the real
1:34.4	world in a way that makes them feel ready? Yeah, no, we were so fortunate to be able to, yes,
1:41.2	to answer the first question, yes, that's Dana Farber, right? Always looking for what do we need to do to be able to, yes, to answer the first question, yes, that's Dana Farber, right?
