Hello, I'm Danny Howard, and this is the iconic Radio 1 mini-mix.

This time I'm bringing you five minutes for one of my favourite new artists around.

Anish Kumar.

He's country BBC introducing in Cambridge, BBC introducing on Radio 1 dance,

and he even played live for us at Radio One's big weekend in Coventry.

You may have heard his massive track, Blackpool Boulevard, on Radio One, alongside Barry

Can't swim towards the end of last year, and he's been flying ever since.

We've also been playing his track, Hummingbird and Steenroller lots on Radio One's dance party,

and we're not his only supporters.

Fortet is a big fan of his and has even invited

him to support him on some live shows and spins a lot of his tracks in his sets as well. Not only that,

the Ray 1 dance family are big fans of a niche, so we thought it's about time we got him to do

the mini-migs. However, he's provided us with an unexpected twist. Delving into some dance tunes from his upbringing,

he's decided to bring us his Avichy Deep Cut Minimix.
