So our book club continues with Animal Farm Chapter 9.

In this Effortless English show, we are learning about Chapter 9 of Animal Farm.

We are almost finished.

Just two more chapters, Chapter 9 and Chapter 10.

Chapter 9 is a sad chapter, unfortunately. You will see one of our heroes has a bad ending, maybe our best hero.

Let's go ahead and start. As usual, I will go through the chapter. I will go through the chapter I will tell you the story what happens in the chapter the

main points of the chapter and then I will talk about some of the deeper meanings of the events of what happens in the chapter.

Chapter 9 is really about Boxer, our great hero Boxer, the horse.

So you remember in Chapter 8, Boxer had a split hoof.

It means his foot was hurt. He had an injury on his foot because of the

battle, a second battle, the windmill battle. But they started to rebuild the windmill immediately and Boxer refused to take a day off.

He would not rest.

He just wanted to work and work and work. Boxer wanted to work again to rebuild

the windmill again.
