So continuing on with Chapter 8.

It's a little bit of a long chapter, so I'm going to start quickly and do my best to explain everything that happens in this chapter.

So let's just begin.

So chapter 8, remember chapter 7 ended with mass executions, mass meaning a large amount, and executions.

Killing, right? Napoleon had lots and lots and lots of the animals murdered, killed them.

So chapter 8 begins, a few days later, after the terror, terror is extreme fear, after the terror caused by the executions had

died down, meaning reduced, gone down, decreased. Some of the animals remembered, or they thought they remembered,

one of the rules, and one of the rules was,

no animals shall kill another animal.

Remember they have these rules.

They called them commandments.

Like their commands, right?

So in the Bible, there's the 10 commandments, right, the 10 rules of God. So these are not just little small rules, these are super, super serious rules, right? The commands, right? More powerful than just a normal rule.

So one of their commandments was, no animals shall kill any other animals.
