Summary

Today we are covering the topic of one of the eight primary emotions, anger. Anger reveals what matters to us- both good and not good. Anger becomes a warning signal, compelling humble people to look inside to identify what emotion they are experiencing and why. Fear? Hurt? Sadness? Resentment? Anger is possibly the most important feeling we experience as emotional and spiritual beings because it is the first step to authentic living. It shows our yearnings and hunger for life. We will also cover five ways to start working on being aware of your anger and how to live in the power of the Spirit. Enjoy!

here with Phil and Diane and Elizabeth. Hi, everybody. Hello. Hi. You guys are so much

more chipper today. That's probably because I asked you to be more chipper when I said,

1:27.6

when I say hi, can you please respond? I'm telling you, it's the awkward intros. They just

1:31.2

get awkward. We're working through it. But we were just discussing, isn't it so encouraging to get

1:36.6

some of these comments? Isn't it just encouraging to your soul? I know for me, it's just been a huge

1:41.8

gift. How about you guys? It's really encouraging because we're used to teaching and to real people

1:48.1

that we see week after week in church. Yeah, yeah. And here we sit around the kitchen table and we

1:52.6

don't necessarily see a face when we're teaching. So the comments just put a face to the difference

1:59.9

that we make. Well, these are real people listening. But why are you saying we can't see you?

2:05.8

But when we get this feedback from you, it so blesses us. And especially when you see the Lord

as Jesus in your life, it just spurs us on. It puts fuel in our gas tanks. In the summer,
