Suze talks about anger: one of the major obstacles to wealth that has a tendency to sneak up on you. She takes a call with Jamie, a school teacher and single mother who makes good money, but now faces mounting bills, a lack of retirement savings, and possible eviction from her home. Lyon Credit Union is currently offering 4.5% for a three-month certificate, 4.75% for a six-month

As we get ready for season two of our podcast, we wanted to share some of the best episodes from

0:46.9

season one. We hope you enjoy listening. Today's podcast, I want to talk to you about anger. Now,

0:55.7

why do I want to do that? Because over all the years that I have been seeing people about their

that had a serious financial problem that had claimed bankruptcy. Those people, when I would

1:43.8

ask them certain questions, I would find that every single one of them was angry. So chances are,

1:53.2

if you're out there and you're listening, and you've claimed bankruptcy, I'm here to tell you

1:59.7

that most likely you are angry at yourself or somebody else. Why is it that sometimes money comes

2:09.0

to you, sometimes money goes out, what is going on in your life, where you are causing money

2:16.4

to be repelled from you, where you are taking actions that lead you down the path to poverty

2:23.8

versus down the road to prosperity. Do you really just think it's a situation where somebody looks

2:31.1

down and decides who's going to have money, who isn't going to have money, that Susie's going to

2:35.9

be rich, but you're going to be poor. No, it's what we do, what we think, what we say, the actions that

2:44.1

we take that determine whether we have financial freedom or whether we do not. It is not because of
