Hi, Gary Steerman. Welcome to another Prophecy Watchers Daily Update, and I'm very pleased to have in studio today, Dr. Andrew M. Woods. I call him Andy, and by permission, Andy Woods has written some wonderful books. He's a great lecturer and we're going to talk about

all of the above in just a moment, but it's good to have you here, Andy. It's always a joy to be

back. Thank you. You have written a book that's called The Coming Kingdom. And see how

thick that is, don't let that scare you. It's an easy, easy read. In fact,

I read a lot of Christian books. I have to in some ways. I've got to keep abreast of what's

going on. And sometimes books are really hard to go through. You'll read a little bit and say, I've got to come back later.

This one, I just sailed through this book.

It's a good read.

Why did you write The Coming Kingdom?

Part of it I was very convicted of the fact that so many people are drifting into a very sloppy understanding

of the kingdom. For example, I was just looking at a particular ministry in their brochure

and they call themselves kingdom builders. And you see people saying we're bringing in the

kingdom, we're doing kingdom work, and they're not saying what the Lord told us to people saying we're bringing in the kingdom, we're doing kingdom work,

and they're not saying what the Lord told us to do.

We're fulfilling the Great Commission anymore.

They're all adopting kingdom, kingdom, kingdom into their vocabulary.

And I watch a lot of the millennials, young people, being drifted into this kingdom now mindset.

And I wanted to get back to the biblical text and help people understand that the word kingdom

means something in the Bible.

We're not just free to define it however we want.

So I really start at Genesis and go through Revelation and inductively develop what the kingdom

is and how the kingdom is different than the current age we're now called the church age.
