Hi, Gary Stearman, time for another Prophecy Watchers Daily Update, special guest in studio today.

He is Dr. Andrew Woods, but he's given me permission to call him Andy.

Andy Woods, welcome to Prophecy Watchers.

Thanks for having me.

Andy has written a couple of books that I really, really love.

One of them is called The Coming Kingdom, the other the Middle East Meltdown, which is a

kind of a unique look at what's going on in the Middle East.

I've seen a lot of books, Andy, on the Middle East, describing what's going

on there. And you took a different tack, and I love it. Your diagrams of what might happen

and when are really unique.

Well, good. I was happy to, that actually was an academic paper that I had done and I was able to kind of

break it down a little bit and make it more digestible for a lay audience. So I'm very

gratified to see the Lord using it. His books by the way, and I have to share this with you,

his books are easy read and that's saying something given the amount of information they contain.

I've read a lot of books. I've said this many times that have lots of information, but they're

very difficult to plow through lots of footnotes, a lot of complex sentences. You've got a style of writing

that sort of pulls the reader along and that's what I love. The Coming Kingdom, I want

to read a sentence from the forward of your book and I want you to comment on this because

this is the heart of what he has written about. And I quote, there has been an explosion of evangelical books

in the last few decades teaching that the current church age is to be equated with the kingdom,

or at least a spiritual form of the kingdom. And it goes on from there. You see a confusion about the actuality of the kingdom. And it goes on from there. You see a confusion about the actuality

of the kingdom.
