What do you really know about dispensationalism in a broad scale sort of way is Dr. Andy Woods.

Andy, welcome back to Prophecy Watchers.

It's good to be here, Gary.

Thank you for having me.

A lot of misunderstanding these days about dispensationalism. And you've written a book,

I'm holding it right now. It's called Ever Reforming, Dispensational Theology and the

completion of the Protestant Reformation. A lot of words there, but the meaning is very clear,

very simple, and something you really

need to know about.

You need to know about the roots of dispensationalism and the truth about dispensationalism.

Andy is an expert.

Well, I appreciate you saying that and by God's grace he allowed me to put this book together.

And I sort of aimed it not for the scholar, but for the layperson that really would

like to know a little bit more about the doctrinal heritage that they have.

This is important to me because today there is a lot of almost bad blood about dispensationalism.

There are people out there who are ready to pounce on you if you call yourself a dispensationalist.

And yet the history behind this and the development of the theology that we have today

as pre-millennial pre-tribulational dispensationalists,

there is a solid historical heritage behind that.

That's true.

And it's sort of interesting you bring that up when Martin Luther, you know,

nailed the 95 Theses to the wall there, cathedral door in Wittenberg, Germany.
