Goni Carson changed my life twice.

It was just like a dream. It was just like everything I had worked for and dreamed about has come to fruition.

They said Johnny fell overlapping.

It makes me so happy.

I made him laugh.

But with Johnny, you know you knew you had a kid who would you do really go great.

My wife at the Kirkland, all the police backstage.

People were running up and she'd go back out, go back out, go back out.

I walked back through the crew and very calm and Johnny, I took about and Johnny put that little circle up at the finger and I I am Mark Malkoff. This is the podcast where I talk to people whose lives were changed by going on the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson.

My guest this week is Andrew Nichols who wrote for Johnny Carson from 1986 until Johnny's

retirement in May of 1992.

The kind of questions that I get asked about it, about that period,

don't tend to promote emotional responses. The comedians who were on the show

obviously always felt very anxious to be on, nervous to perform, and then so touched. if they were invited the panel or offended and upset if they didn't.
