Andy Scott. I'm joined by Sky Sports John Denon and we will be talking to

Andre Ward, surely one of the best fighters of the modern generation.

Absolutely, yeah, he was one of the great of his time.

I suppose the big question is, for me, is he a great fighter who didn't have a great fight as

in that sense a victim of his own success yeah when I say Andre Ward what's the

first thing that comes to mind I can give you a clue with mine I think it's probably the Froche era it's probably

going out after Kovalev and probably one of the fighters that stayed retired what about you?

Yeah I was at his last fight which at the time I didn't know was his last fight so I was hugely

impressed with him particularly against Kovalev.

That might have been his, what, his finest moment, right, at the end of his career.

Yeah, and a man who, I don't think there's many fights that you wanted to see that you didn't see.

Okay, we can argue about the kinelows of this world which would have been a great match up and

fantasy fights like Joe Kalzagi, but I suppose one of the great things you can say about a fighter in Andre Ward is he beat, he beat everybody in his generation.

There wasn't anyone he left behind almost.
