Hey guys, this is Ali. I just came from Clara's classroom where we decided the future of our next

cool facts about animals episode. Clara's first grade classroom has spent the past month or so

learning about different kinds of penguins. To date, they've learned about five kinds. They've

learned about the Gentoo, Little Blue, Chinstrap, Rockhopper, and King Penguins. We broke up into groups

for each penguin, about four kids per penguin, and each group came up with the absolute

coolest facts they could think of for the penguin that they were assigned. So, for instance,

the chin strap penguin, they talked about how it had really cool facial markings for Little Blue.

They talked about how it was so little and cute and lived in a warm climate instead of in Antarctica.

Anyway, I will not do any more talking.

I will let them tell you what makes these animals so cool.

But at the very end, we all voted and we got to choose which penguin we wanted to learn more about.

So stay tuned till the end and you will hear what they chose.

I did not know almost any of those facts about penguins, so thank you for sharing them with me.

Okay, so here's what's going to happen now.

We have, we're going to go in alphabetical order.

So the groups will come up and do chin strap and then Gen 2 and then H-I-J-K

and then Little Blue and then Rock Hopper will finish it.

And then at the very end, after everyone's gone, we'll take a vote for which one you think

we should learn more about on the podcast.

Remember, you cannot vote for your own penguin or else it's going to be a five-way tie

because everyone's going to vote for their own, right?
