What a dog on week! Like it's gonna require your undivided attention for approximately,

you guessed it, 57 minutes.

And now, this week's moments in blackness goes to Sammy Sosa.

Why are you so memable, dog? Like they got you out here as Neapolitan ice cream because

you have legit hit every flavor, chocolate vanilla and strawberry now? In a recent interview,

Sammy Sosa said, it's a bleaching cream that I apply before going to bed and whitens

my skin some. It's a cream that I have that I use to soften but has bleached me some.

Some! My dude, what? Some was from dark chocolate to chocolate. You are pink! Like straight

up pink. Like strawberry flavored. Why do you hate your black skin so much, Sammy Sosa?

I would laugh, but honestly this right here is sad as hell. What is even more frustrating

to me is that color complex issues exist throughout the diaspora. There are people worldwide,

frankly, who run from their blackness. So it's time for us to honor not just the sounds

of blackness but the shades too. And we shouldn't be using bleaching cream y'all. This won't

be the last time we address color complexities on this podcast, but that's all for now

because this week is long and I promise y'all 57 minutes.
