Howdy folks, Dominic here, with a quick update.

I'd like to inform you that the History of Egypt podcast is now available on YouTube.

One of my listeners, Amer, generously took up the task of turning older episodes of the show into YouTube videos, with visual

material to illustrate the discussions.

The first episode will be going live shortly about the brutal death of King Sickeninra

at the height of the second intermediate period and the wars with the Huxos.

We're starting with the New Kingdom episodes, because those are the most up-to-date,

academically, and they also have the greatest variety of visual material to illustrate the discussion.

In the future, once the channel finds its feet, I'd like to cycle back to the old and middle kingdom episodes,

and also update the actual narratives there.

And I'd love to start producing some amateur documentary kind of material.

I'm doing a little bit of that right now.

I'm producing bespoke shorts to go up on the YouTube channel, and over on Patreon I've

started creating short videos about statues and pieces of art that I quite

like and want to discuss.

All of that will eventually find its way to YouTube.

Now then, a quick update about the narrative.

We are on the cusp of a pretty significant event, the Battle of Kadesh, and the events of that

campaign and its aftermath are big. Unfortunately, it's going to have to wait a teeny bit before
