After a brief summer hiatus we're back and raring to go to dive into the Reds

preparations for the new campaign and consider how well cooked they are ahead of

the new season in the raging summer sun.

With me as ever our resident tactical whiz Josh Williams Josh how are you fairing in these boiling

conditions?

Yeah not great mate. It is extremely hot where I am at the minute.

I just checked my phone actually it's currently 37 where I am.

So with the Hillis UK he's unheard of and I'm going to do my best to last throughout the

episode without melting and to meet you here I think.

Yeah I think our non UK listeners are probably thinking, come on, what are you doing?

It's surely not that bad, but I can say fair-skinned, overweight balding chap like myself was definitely not built for this kind of weather.

So yeah as you say Josh let's try and try and get through without melting but in terms of what we've got in store today we're going to kind of take a bit of an overview.

We did forget to mention in the last analyzing Anfield episode that you were going to be a way on

holiday for a little while.

So apologies to anyone who was expecting analyzing Anfield episodes to drop that weren't there.

As I say that was certainly something we forgot to mention.

Last time we were together, but in terms of kind of what we've missed out on, as I said, I think it's three weeks since our last recording. And in that time, Mohammed Salas signed a new contract, Liverpool of return to preseason. They've been out to the far east and back as well plenty has been going on
