Mo, what on earth is going on at Liverpool?

Honestly, I wish I could tell you.

It's almost like the fact that the World Cup's happening is kind of distracted us from a lot, but the reality is is that lots of things that don't often happen have happened in Liverpool's history once every four or five years.

I've all happened in one space of like two or three weeks and for us out on the

outside it's kind of hard to kind of gauge how worried we should be.

Well when the World Cup initially started, I think we were thinking like how are we going to get through the five weeks

year to Rockhamoke, Liverpool, when Liverpool are playing. And we've been hit by two storms in the process obviously

FSG selling up which was the top of conversation a few weeks ago and now for

those who aren't aware I don't know where you've been but for those who aren't aware, I don't know where you've been, but for those who aren't away,

Julian Ward has announced that at the end of the season he will be resigning.

And Ian Graham, who, I know I've spoke a local law on this podcast over the past few years is following

him out the door by all accounts so today's talk is obviously going to be above that I don't know where

to be honest I mean I suppose when when the initial ward news came out your initial reaction was yeah this is a hard subject for us because I mean you

say it yourself this is a tactics and analytics podcast I mean we try not to deal too much with conjecture we try to deal with facts with

numbers with informed opinions but when we're talking about players and football we

can do that because we can see the players we can see the action

when we're talking about the guys in the back room and the guys who are doing the deals and all these kind of things

we can't because we don't we're not in the room. So our informed opinions become slightly less informed.

But for the basis of this show and for the benefit of you all out there, I've tried to kind of base most of my thoughts around the framework of what we do kind of know and then just kind of build it out from there. So my initial reaction was
