I'm Julie Bogart, your host.

Hey everyone, we're back brave writer is getting ready to launch season three of the

podcast I'm calling this season brave shift it takes a paradigm shift to homeschool, to move from a traditional model of

schooling to a lifestyle of learning with your family. Some families take the

flexibility of homeschooling to the limit.

They travel the world while educating their children.

They hop in a mobile home and drive around the United States or Australia.

Others have to find a way to homeschool through

surprises like chronic illness or breast cancer or even grief. The choice to

homeschool is one that challenges each of us to be new better versions of ourselves

even while it tests our limits of patients and self-discipline.

So this season, I decided I wanted to talk to a slew of home educators a self-titled

accidental guru of the homeschooling movement my very best friend who was my

homeschool mentor

and parents who are in the trenches as well as those who've

graduated from homeschooling, whose kids are grown and flown the coop.

I chose to interview a bunch of people in my life that I've known

intimately who have been companions and role models to me, both inspiration and

support.
