Stacey Aviva Flint is back on our show today.

She's a former follower of the International Churches of Christ, and it was an organization that was run by a man named Kip McKean. He's still around.

This group of churches is not connected with the mainline churches of Christ.

I spoke with her a while ago, actually, and after we talked as it happens with a number of people,

there was a part of her story I wanted to make sure to find out a little bit more about.

And yes, she has happily moved on, and she's been raising her daughter and working and has

converted to a different religion. And still, though, there is the memory of her experiences and how

they affected her and her traumas from her time, especially, I think, as we talked about it,

in Africa when she was sent as a missionary for this

particular organization. She didn't know what was in store for her there. She mentioned it

briefly during her original interview with me and we didn't have enough time to kind of get

into the experience of being sent across the world,

totally unprepared for what she would actually experience there.
