Today on The Collin and Samir Show, we're speaking with Jordan Matter. He's a creator who's built an audience of 11.5 million people on YouTube through photography challenges and now family content featuring his kids.

Prior to joining YouTube, Jordan had a career as a photographer in New York City, and now at age 55, he refers to himself as officially the oldest YouTuber with over 10 million subscribers.

In the episode, Jordan talks with us about how he grew his channel, the dangers of creating

content with your kids, and the impact of YouTube on entertainment.

At one point during the interview, we got the unique opportunity to speak with Jordan's

16-year-old son about what it's like to have a famous dad and be a part of his creator journey.

I think a great place to start is where your career is right now as a creator, because we'll

definitely go back. You've had a long

career as a creator with different types of mediums, but what does your career look like right now?

Okay, that's a great place to start. My career right now is I'm a dad. It reminds me I was,

I saw Casey interviewed recently and a new sire said to him,

who are you right now?

And he said, right now I'm a dad that makes pancakes for breakfast.

For me, I'm a dad who brings my kids, primarily my daughter, to video shoots.

And we create family content based on our relationship and challenges with well-known creators.

That's what I do daily now.

How did that come about that you started making content with your kids?

Well, should I go back and tell me how we got there or start?

Start in the middle and we'll go back.
