We're going to look into the 18th and 19th centuries, the military powerhouse of Europe that had the most disciplined forces and forming form of the core of the German military into World War One.

Others of you hear the word pressure. You're already straight into zone out and you've always been confused by that word because you think.

That sounds like Russia. Those are the same, right? Well, they're not the same. They were allies with each other in different wars. And also fought against each other. They were allies in the Napoleonic Wars, for example.

And you might think, Russia is that like Germany? Well, it's part of greater Germany that isn't unified until 1871.

But it's the most important German state and it sort of leads Germany. And it's at the forefront of that unification. Was it like the Habsburg Empire? Is that right? And not exactly. They're more closely linked to Austria, were they the Holy Roman Empire? No, they're a small state in that.
