My guest, Amy Berg, with a career as a producer at CBS News and CNN,

not only prepared her for her directorial debut, the documentary Deliver Some Evil,

it also so the Seas for that film. Amy, thanks for being here.

Thanks, Elvis. It's an honor to be with you today.

And talk a little bit about how your background actually set this whole film up.

Well, working as a journalist for, I was working on the clergy abuse story for about four years,

pretty much right around the time it started breaking out of Boston. And some of the same patterns,

I just kept seeing them in each story that I did of cover up and early

prior knowledge and the devastation upon the families. So I just, I kind of got a real sense of

the laws and all of the cover up that was happening. And the last big investigation I did for CNN,

Oliver O'Grady, who is featured in my film, was a name that kept popping up.

And his story was so horrific that I just, I had so many questions at the end of that that big piece that I did for Newsnight, actually, was able to get his phone number.

And after talking to him for about five months, I was sure that I wanted to do a film about this side of the story, because this was

the thing that nobody has ever heard or seen straight from the horse's mouth. And it was just so

interesting to me to try to document his story. Tell us a little bit about what the film is about, if you would.

Oliver O'Grady was a priest who came to California from Ireland in the early 1970s,

and he immediately began abusing children almost within a year of starting.

And he wrote a number of confession letters,

and he was the bishops and authorities were notified,

but he was able to keep, stay in ministry,
