Summary

E!’s Justin Sylvester hosted another powerful conversation this week on Amplify Our Voices: An Open Dialogue on Being Black in America, featuring RHOA’s Cynthia Bailey, Married to Medicine’s Dr. Jackie Walters, and Project Runway’s Elaine Welteroth.

Cynthia described the “understood, silent” racism she’s experienced as a model in the fashion industry and had a strong message to haters and trolls still questioning the importance of saying Black Lives Matter. Dr. Jackie reacted to the recent death of Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta and explained how we can all vote safely and protect ourselves against COVID-19. Elaine Welteroth described her experience growing up in a biracial family, and shared details about The 15 Percent Pledge, which is demanding retailers dedicate 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned businesses.

These conversations are happening every Monday night in June so be sure to follow @BravoTV on Instagram.
