Hello and welcome everybody to The Total Soccer Show.

My name is Taylor Rockwell, and this weekend was an eventful one, both for Americans abroad and domestic.

We're going to bring in Major League Soccer to our Americans' Performing Weekend Review, I guess is what I'm going to call it.

To help me go over some of those

performances, we've got Joe Lowry back. Joe, we missed you. It's good to have you back on the

program. Thank you, Taylor. I missed being here and I am genuinely excited to be back. I love talking

soccer and I love talking soccer with you specifically. Oh, thanks, buddy. Well, I enjoy talking

soccer with you specifically and Americans

Abroad, even more specifically. And I should note we had a few big performances or a few big

moments for Americans like Zach Steffen and Men's City, winning the League Cup, Mark McKinsey

off the bench to help Gank win the Belgium Cup final. Cameron Carter Vickers, Darrell D.K., securing

spots in the championship playoffs. But I don't think we're going to be talking about any of those players. Instead, we're going to talk about a couple players in Major League Soccer. And then a few other of the kind of common names for us at this point. But then again, when you've got a bunch of Americans abroad doing a bunch of different things, sometimes there tends to be a few repeat names in there. So Joe, with that disclaimer out of the way and the addition that we're going to talk about the Champions League at the very end of this show, which player would you like to talk about first? Well, my question for you is, Taylor, would you prefer me to start domestically or should we hop across the Atlantic? It's up to you. I think it's, I think let's go domestic. Since you Since I haven't talked much about Major League Soccer, it's obviously back. You are still discussing it in-depth over on MLS Assist. How has that been? What have been your thoughts on the season so far? It's been tons of fun. It's been so nice to have soccer games to talk about. Jordan and I have been loving it. The season's

been great so far, legitimately entertaining soccer. A lot of poor defensive moments, which I know

you guys talked a bit about yesterday on the weekend review, you Ryan and Graham, but some genuine

quality as well. And Kate Cowell brought some quality over the weekend. He started, scored, and had an assist in the San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 win over FC Dallas. I want to do a little bit of background, Taylor, on Kate Cowell, because I think he's a name that not a lot of folks will be as familiar with. So he's 17 years old. He plays for the San Jose Earthquakes the earthquakes as i said he's a homegrown player for them

he's built like a tight end but he runs like a wide receiver uh tom bogert tweeted kate cow looks

like the villainous character in a disney movie about competitive rollerblading in california so hopefully

between his physical build and that's kind of getting at his hair and just general vibe

listeners and that you now have an at his hair and just general vibe.
