I'm in the middle of a series entitled American Christian

Principles of Government. This is Principle 4 today that I'll be introducing to you.

Principle 4, Part 4, on the subject of property.

This series is dedicated to two of my teachers who are considered master teachers in America's Christian history and government.

That is James B. Rose and Miss Catherine Dang.

Mr. Rose passed from the Kingsland in January of 2019,

and I wrote a tribute to his life and his ministry. I'm going to make that available with this episode. This is episode 42 of this podcast ministry, but I did write that a couple years ago,

and I trust that that will bless you if you'll access that and get a taste of how this man

impacted my life to the point of tears when I was writing this tribute.

I was reflecting on the times that we've had.

Very thankful for his graciousness to have me in his home, have meals with him and his family.

And it's no small thing for me to honor him in particular because of the time we spent with one another outside of the classroom.

And that speaks of his character and a truth that I learned from the foundation for American Christian education,

and that is teaching and learning is

relationship. That is the Jesus methodology of teaching and learning, and that is, it is

undergirded and on a foundation of cultivating relations.

And so I thank I am ever so grateful for the ministry of James Rose.
